How can I help?
Your reasons for seeking therapy may be diverse and varied. All are valid and important. I can help with a variety of challenges such as anxiety, depression, bereavement and loss, identity and relationship difficulties, stress and overwhelm.
I am fully qualified and have specialised training and experience with perinatal mental wellbeing such as antenatal and post partum depression, anxiety and the additional challenges the transition to parenting can present for families and friends.
I also have additional training in counselling people experiencing disordered eating behaviours such as binge eating disorder, bulimia nervosa within an eating disorder service. I can support you with this if it is medically safe and ethical to embark on therapeutic work.
I am LGBTQIA+ affirming and supportive, welcoming you into the therapeutic space exactly as you are.

Your challenges and life experiences are unique to you and so our therapy is tailored and unique too. Our sessions are collaborative, underpinned by empathy and compassion even as we explore the difficulties you have together.
I offer a flexible approach to therapy, for some people this is the space to talk about what is causing distress or conflict is best suited. For others more creative methods may suit them better. There are opportunities to use paper and pens and imagination as a place to explore difficult topics. Other creative therapy methods may include timelines, genograms, using picture cards to explore your view of the world, stacking dolls or fidget toys. Finding the right approach for you is important, this is your time and you choose how you use it.
I am fully qualified in Humanistic Integrative Counselling I blend three core approaches - Person Centred Theory, Transactional Analysis and Gestalt to best work together.
I am a member of the BACP - The British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and adhere to their ethical framework for safe and effective professional conduct.

50 minute online video sessions.
Research suggests remote therapeutic work is equal in effectiveness to more traditional in person sessions. Online video sessions may offer benefits in accessibility and removing travel times.
Sessions of 60 minutes or 90 minutes are considered on request.

Near to Amesbury, Wilton, Tisbury with good public transport links and several public car parks nearby.
